Poker study notes on Apple Watch: preparation, not live help

By Tech Care · Published

If you are looking for a poker cheat sheet on Apple Watch, separate personal study from live assistance. Peek can hold short text reminders for study away from play. Do not use hidden notes to consult prohibited material at a poker table or in a restricted tournament area.

Write down what to review later

Write down what you want to understand after a session: a term to look up, an example to discuss with a coach or a question for your next lesson. Keep the original learning material on a larger screen.

Peek is a general text memory aid. It is not a poker solver, odds calculator, chart library or real-time adviser, and it does not generate decisions. This guide does not recommend wagers or playing strategies.

  • “Review the terminology from the lesson”
  • “Ask my coach to explain the example again”
  • “Write down what I still do not understand”

Check the event’s device rules

The 2026 WSOP tournament rules prohibit charts, apps, AI and other advantage-giving electronic assistance in the tournament room. That restriction is broader than simply avoiding a lookup during your own turn. See the official rules linked below.

Being allowed to wear a device doesn’t mean you can consult any material on it. Other venues and online operators have their own rules. Ask the organizer and keep study activity outside any restricted time or area.

Why a hidden poker cheat sheet is the wrong promise

A small screen does not turn prohibited assistance into fair play. Peek shows and hides text on screen. It can’t guarantee that someone won’t notice your watch or see you checking it.

During an independent study session, a short reminder can hold your next question or review task. For detailed charts, structured training or a long review, use the original study tool away from play instead of squeezing it onto your wrist.

Questions

Can I consult poker notes on my watch at the table?

Do not assume so. Venue and event rules govern devices and assistance, and the 2026 WSOP rules restrict advantage-giving electronic assistance in the tournament room.

Is it allowed as long as I am between hands?

That is not a universal exception. A rule can cover the tournament room or a wider period of play. Read the organizer’s current rules and ask staff.

Does Peek give poker advice or calculate odds?

No. The workflow described here is displaying text notes you prepare on iPhone. It provides no solver, chart database or betting recommendation.
